Step 3

While pressing the roll, pull the fixed flange end of the scroller

sharply several times then remove the movable flange and take

off the roll.

• Don't put the hold lever up while the head is moving (during

printing, media detection, media cutting, cleaning, etc.) other-

wise the head will touch the media keeper blade and cause

damage and bad printing.

• When putting the hold lever up to load media, etc., make sure

the head is in the stand-by position (maintenance position).

The lever can not be put up if the head is not in the stand-by

position.

• Don't move the head while the hold lever is up. The head may

contact the media keeper blade.
